Which Vespa is right for me?
You should choose your Vespa based on how you plan to use it. New York is a fast paced city, and to keep up, we recommend the LX150 as the best place to start your love affair with Vespa. Peppy, comfortable and a true '5 boro' machine, the LX150 is the choice of many who work at Vespa Soho. If you plan to carry a passenger on a regular basis, have a longer commute, or plan to ride longer distances on the highway, (Hamptons anyone?) you may want to consider the GTS 250 or GTV which have more power, more room, and amenities like special passenger footrests.
Do I need a motorcycle license?
In New York State, any two wheeled motorized vehicle that can go faster than 30mph is a motorcycle, REGARDLESS OF ENGINE SIZE. For NY residents, we have a partnership with a local driving school where you easily can get your motorcycle license on their Vespa in one day. Click on the following links for details on licensing in NY, NJ and CT. All of Vespa’s current models require a motorcycle license to ride legally in NY.

We do accept most credit cards. We also accept checks and cash, and have a variety of financing plans available. Check with our sales department for current financing options.
